What We Believe

The Bible is Our Source of Truth!

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, died as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily form the dead and ascended into heaven according to the scriptures.

We believe that as Jesus died for our sins, He is the only way to salvation and eternal life. When we believe in His salvation and forgiveness of our sin and declare Him Lord of our life, we are born again of the Spirit of God and attain the promise of eternal life.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. In the scripture, grace is God offering to mankind that which he does not deserve. Faith is a response to grace that involves allowing God through the work of the Holy Spirit in my life, to help me turn from my sin as I learn to place my trust in God. Spiritual growth (changing my way of thinking and acting) is evidence that salvation has taken place. There is no other way for an individual to come into a personal relationship with God, than through Christ's gift of forgiveness.

We believe in the work of the Spirit of God in people's lives and the fruit of the Holy Spirit as well as the working of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the supernatural and complete (i.e. every word in the original language) inspiration of the scriptures and that they are inerrant, and that their teaching and authority are absolute, supreme and final.

We believe that a human being's most important purpose is to have a loving and intimate relationship with God that starts in this life and continues throughout eternity.
